Back in the days when President Trump was first elected, he promised to build a wall/fence (differences in semantics between a wall and a fence are not significant because both block people) with Mexico which sent the Dems into a frenzy of wall-denial never seen before. It was as comical as it was absurd as it was entertaining.

Hypocrite Hillary Clinton actually voted FOR the Secure Fence Act of 2006 authorising about 700 miles of fencing along certain stretches of land between the border of the United States and Mexico.
The act also authorized the use of more vehicle barriers, checkpoints and lighting to curb illegal immigration, and the use of advanced technology such as satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Then-Sen. Clinton voted in favour of the act when it passed in the Senate by a vote of 80 to 19. (Notably, then-Sen. Barack Obama and New York Sen. Chuck Schumer voted for it, too.)
Said Hillary:
"I voted numerous times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in, and I do think you have to control your borders."– Hillary Clinton addressing an audience at a campaign stop Nov. 9, 2015.
Their excuses went from “no money” to people will just climb over, dig under, go around…to most drugs and contrabands are coming in at official ports (sea and air) anyway…to animal migration flow that would be hampered.
They also said it’s illegal. There is a ratified treaty between Mexico and the United States that requires both countries to agree on any building / structure that will affect the Rio Grande River. A wall on either side or down the middle will affect the water flow of the river.
Oh yes…like what are levies on the banks of the Mississippi river then?
One just has to wonder why they even have walls around their own homes or even better, why they have walled houses with rooms separated by walls at all.
Even the Satanic, Jesuit Pope Francis has been critical of the project, stating his libtard views in a March 2019 interview that "If you raise a wall between people, you end up a prisoner of that wall that you raised." And said that people should be building "bridges, not walls."
Nevertheless, suddenly inanimate walls also became “immoral”, because the Pope said so. According to libtard Nanci Pelosi, walls are not only immoral, they are also an “old way of thinking.”
Of course, she is right. Democrats are always right. Since the start of civilisation, people have built walls. Walls obviously served a purpose and it must have worked otherwise people would not have been so dumb to carry on building it for thousands of years. In Ancient times cities and castles had walls around them. The Chinese built a massive wall to keep Mongol raiders and invaders out. The Romans built walls from the eastern borders of their empire to the north western borders of their province of Britannia such as the Antonine and Hadrian’s walls.

Nevertheless, in more modern times, walls are still being built and they still work. In Hungary, for example, the number of illegal immigrants dropped from 4500 per day to 15 after a 175-kilometer long, four-meter high fence was constructed in 2015. However, when the Hungarian government erected their first wall (having had hundreds of thousands of people pour across their previously un-walled borders in a few months), they received some criticism from their neighbors. Only weeks later, these critics — including the government of Austria — started to hurriedly build walls of their own.

The Berlin Wall was erected around West Berlin like a barrier around a virus, by the East German Communist Leader Walter Ulbricht, to keep the “fascist” Western Capitalist out of the Socialist Utopia of the GDR. It was probably the most successful wall ever seeing that in about 28 years not a single Western Capitalist tried to invade the Socialist paradise. A few tried it the other way, but were summarily shot by the morally superior progressive leftist regime.
Obviously, these modern “progressives” in the Dems cannot think further than where their brains got stuck at age two.
First of all, the Mexican wall is not going to be just a wall. There’s going to be a tremendous amount of technology that will accompany the wall/border.
If you know anything about the wall in Israel, then you know just how effective it is. Well the same company has received the contract to install the same technology and even better on this wall. Just one sensor planted in the ground can detect someone creating a tunnel, or even using existing tunnels seven miles away.
Border walls get teched out
The main reason for the Mexican wall is to force the Cartels to do their dirty work where you want them to do their dirty work — at the limited legal ports of entry! So you can catch them.
Besides, it is not just about drugs and contraband. These people smuggling Cartels are ruthless! Women and teen girls are often taken hostage and made to prostitute once they arrive in the US, or even before they can leave Mexico! It is estimated that 60 to 75% of all females, young and old are raped during the crossing! Often multiple times by many different men. Where is the outcry by the feminazis such as Hilary and Nancy Pelosi?
The Cartels will also have immigrants dig tunnels as part of their payment to cross once it's completed. They dig for several weeks or even months under the Border in order to smuggle drugs, weapons and cash in and out of the US, but usually the Cartels will instead murder these immigrants so there's no chance of their tunnel ever being discovered by Authorities. Life means nothing to them.

Nevertheless, the “evil” Apartheid system was so bad that every year 6000-10,000 Mozambicans wanted to escape their own socialist paradise and tried to get INTO Apartheid South Africa. About 200-300 were shocked dead every year. Many more eaten by predators whilst trying to cross the Kruger Park.
One of the first things that deputy president Thabo Mbeki did after the ANC came to power in 1994 was to take down this fence. When the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park was officially declared in 2002, Valli Moosa ceremonially cut down 20 metres of the remaining fence. You can imagine what the result was. The poaching and illegal immigration increased so exponentially that the ANC had to re-erect at least 150km fence in 2012.
This weak fence doesn’t help much. In the KNP‚ a total of 243 rhino carcasses were found between January and the end of June 2017. This is compared to 354 in the same period in 2016. So you are talking of between 500-700 Rhinos poached every year despite the ANC’s weak fence.
