How can several fires (26) all start simultaneously in white suburbs? It was not the first attempt. Several houses were burned down in the same area in the past few weeks.

Why is the government not investigating for arson? Is it because only white homes burned down or is it because they don’t want the truth about these fires discovered?

Devastating fires yet I still have to see a single Knysna shack burnt down. How can that be? Look how the media wants to shift the blame to “children” and “teenagers”. So it is all OK then?

Are Knysna fires the result of Arson?

Here is one where the media tries to make it out as “Conspiracy theories”.

Witness account: How I escaped raging Knysna fires

From the top link…

“Simultaneous fires starting at the same time‚ "raises a big red flag" and suggests "deliberate agency"‚ says forensic investigator David Klatzow.”

"It is unusual for fires to start simultaneously‚" said Klatzow‚ one of the leading fire investigators in the country. He said "hard questions needed to be asked".

"When you start an investigation‚ you need an open mind. You start looking for an innocent source for a fire. You look at negligence such as cigarettes tossed away and carelessness….somebody who was welding‚ a camp fire not put out properly.”

"There could be an Eskom power line that fell down and short circuited. This could start two fires."

But he said "once there are three‚ four‚ five‚ 20 fires at the same time you need an investigation into the cause of the fires".

But when asked for comment about the cause of the fires‚ James-Brent Styan - spokesman for the MEC of Local Government‚ Environmental Affairs and Development Planning - said it is unlikely that they will ever know the cause of the fires. He said arson is not suspected or being investigated.

“South Africa’s parliament said in a statement: “It is mostly the poorest sections of our society that usually bear the brunt of natural calamities, such as severe weather conditions, due to the conditions under which they live.” Source
