Normalization of deviance and the subtleties of curbing freedom under a Marxist regime

I trust you all had a great Christmas and New Year and are ready to start the year in all earnest.

Well now that Part 1 of Apartheid’s Pandora’s Box has been published, we can continue the fight against the scum who inspired the book in the first place, namely the utterly corrupt ANC regime of Arsezania, but before we can do that, a few small things…

First of all, to all of those who have bought the book and left reviews, thank you, and for those who have not yet acquired a copy, you are missing out on a great read, albeit often not by your own doing and that is what I would like to point out in this post; the subtleties of curbing freedom of speech under a Marxist regime. See, people in South Africa have come to accept what sociologist, Dr Dianne Vaughn (Columbia University), calls, “The normalization of deviance”...and if left unchecked it can lead to major Fuck-ups like the explosion of the Challenger Space Shuttle and the capsizing of the Costa Concordia.

Diane Vaughan and the normalization of deviance

She says, "Social normalization of deviance means that people within the organization become so much accustomed to a deviant behaviour that they don't consider it as deviant, despite the fact that they far exceed their own rules for the elementary safety". People grow more accustomed to the deviant behaviour the more it occurs. To people outside of the organization, the activities seem deviant; however, people within the organization do not recognize the deviance because it is seen as a normal occurrence. In hindsight, people within the organization realize that their seemingly normal behaviour was deviant.”

In other words, in bad old Apartheid South Africa, power outages or black-outs were the deviation to the norm. It hardly ever occurred and then when it did, once in ten years or so, it was for an hour or two. This rubbish of playing musical breakers with the electricity supply every day, aka “load shedding”, was unheard of, back then.

See, in those days South Africa was a clean, well run, first-world country with a nuclear and space programme. In fact, the only nuclear-power in the Southern Hemisphere. Not anymore.

This current dysfunctional trash heap, the modern Rainbow Utopia known as Arsezania, is now the norm. Clean streets and neighbourhoods are the deviations and exceptions. Black-outs and load-shedding has become so normal that people are astounded and ecstatic when a day goes by WITHOUT load-shedding to the point of wanting to thank and praise the ANC for how well they are actually doing.

The saddest thing about it all is that people, especially the ones who never knew the high standards of the Apartheid government, just accept it all as “normal”. They don’t even realise what is going on around them, let alone realise what is going on in their heads. They are being driven insane and simply accept it as “normal”.

Problem is that Homo Sapiens Sapiens is what Germans call “ein Gewohnheitstier”…a “Creature of Habit”.

You can put humans under the most difficult and trying circumstances; enslavement; torture camps in Siberia; a school where they are bullied every day... they will adapt, get used to it, accept it as normal and find a way to survive.

The worst ones are the ones born into the system…Like children born in prison and growing up with their mommies in prison. They don’t know what “normal” really is, because it is all they have ever known. Like evil defines good, they have nothing “abnormal” to compare it with and once they get out and are free to see the world, they get scared, see it as abnormal and crawl back to the safety of the only place they know.

Another example that recently reminded me of this phenomenon was the release of my book and the subsequent ordering of it.

People in Arsezania are often flabbergasted when they hear that people in the rest of the world order just about any mundane thing from Amazon. The time when Amazon was for books and CD’s only, ended about ten years ago. Nowadays you can order literally anything from Amazon, from shoes and handbags to building materials to shampoo and deodorant. If you are an Amazon Prime member your delivery charges are usually free, if you don’t like it you can return it free, plus you accumulate points on every purchase that gives you nice discounts. This is fully normal in the modern world out there.

The result is that shopping centres are running empty and CBD’s get depopulated. In China, people have almost completely changed over to online shopping. Alibaba is the online market and shopping-centre where you can order anything.

I am fully for it.

If more people ordered online, less cars would travel to the cities. Less people need to live close to the cities to buy things or work there. Cities will become quieter, more restful, peaceful and car parks can make way for normal parks with trees and flowers.

You will also cut down on crime. All those stupid petty thieves and shoplifters will disappear, no more looting rioters…no more shop windows to smash and businesses to burn down. Insurance comes down, police can free up resources and concentrate on the important crimes, etc.

However, at the start of a new decade, the 2020’s, when this is the trend in the rest of the world, even in an ever less Communist China…in Arseboonia it is the opposite way around. The tendency is to move back to the Stone Age of bartering with skins and beads and this has profound implications on people’s freedoms.

See, people in ANC run Arsefucklia cannot just order a Mike Smith book on Amazon.com

Of course, this is not Amazon’s fault. They deliver everywhere in the world, just not to South Africa. The problem? Two things…the Post Office and Customs. Both state institutions run by your beloved useless ANC.

People in Europe who send Christmas cards to South Africa in October/November can expect them to arrive South African family members round about Easter the next year, because your cardies have to run the gauntlet of thieving Noble Savage hands at the poskantoor or customs that open everything with a foreign postage stamp on it, because there could be money or something valuable inside.

Amazon had so much shit with them that they simply stopped delivering to South Africa and they are not considering opening a branch such as Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de or Amazon.ca anytime soon.

Of course, my book is available in all these countries, just not to South Africa. If South Africans want a hardcopy, they have to order it throw a third-party deliverer/distributor like Aramex.com who only deliver to street addresses, not PO Boxes, because the ANC run Arsecuntlia Post Office is practically dysfunctional and stolen into bankruptcy.

DHL only guarantees parcels to JHB’s (O.R. Tampon) airport. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. However, you can order from the USA using DHL via USgobuy.com…just use a street delivery address and bypass the poskantoor. I am sure if you try you will find a way to get hold of a copy.

Of course, the easiest and cheapest if you just want to read the book, is to download the Free Kindle App onto your computer and read the book like that. You don’t need a Kindle device.

However, I understand that South Africans are conservative readers and prefer to have a hard copy in their hands or on the shelf, so for that I am setting up a feature to order it directly from this blog…obviously from outside the country so that the ANC thought police cannot reach it, but unfortunately the postage will have to be added to the end price. It is a compromise, but just bear with me.

Nevertheless, it just shows you the subtle ways of curbing Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Information under a Marxist regime. You don’t have to ban books. The collapse of the postal system is enough to slow the flow of information down to a crawl where most people just don’t bother to order any books.

And if that is not enough you collapse the national electricity supply, “Eksdom”, so people cannot read books when its dark anyway and cannot inform themselves online on computers anymore when there is no electricity. So, nobody bothers to read anymore.

The same with the collapse of the national radio and television network, the SABC. The national broadcaster is not just there to entertain, but also to inform the pupblic…If it is collapsed, in the end the only talking heads you see and hear are the regime’s puppets and cronies spewing and regurgitating their Marxist propaganda. You don’t have to build a wall around your country to prevent people from seeing the outside “normal” world anymore, like the Soviet and East German regimes did. You do not need to pull down what we called “The Iron Curtain” during the Apartheid /Cold War years anymore... The collapse of the national airline, such SAA, and the collapse of the local currency is enough to make it so expensive to travel abroad that most people just do not bother.

And if that is not enough you make the Department of Home Affairs so corrupt and useless that it takes ages to get a passport, visa or ID and when it eventually comes it is full of mistakes so that it won’t be accepted abroad.

Burning the trains and busses down restrict the citizen’s Freedom of Movement even more…and when that doesn’t help you destroy the water supply and push up the petrol price so that the only traveling taking place nowadays is between waterpoint and home and work and home.

People just become too preoccupied with daily survival that they just do not bother to travel, read or inform themselves about the outside world anymore.

In fact, in the end people are behaving exactly the way the Communists want them to behave…And that, dear people, is what is truly behind the collapse of the country you are living in. It is part of the ANC Agenda.

I always laugh when people say that I am too cynical, that the ANC is simply just corrupt, that the Kaffirmative Action and BEE appointees are simply dumb and uneducated.

Not only that, people actually want to offer the ANC their help and advice to help them govern better.

Fools they are! They do not realise that help is the last thing the ANC wants, unless it is helping them to steal the average citizen blind.

Then they are truly colour blind, because they will ally with the Devil himself if it means more money for them. Look at the Watsons and Agrizzis of Bosasa, the Sheik’s and the Guptas, the Kebble’s and Agliottis…

Problem is that the average South African never see the true reason behind why the schools and universities need to be destroyed and the people dumbed down. To appoint dumb people everywhere to collapse a state-run government structure and social service, is hard work. It takes at least a generation (25 years) to implement. As can be seen today, the ANC has been busy.

People generally do not understand how Communism works. The name of the game is “Power Forever”.

People should stop thinking that the ANC will someday, somehow magically come right and govern properly. It has not happened under Mandela, Mbeki, Zupta and it certainly will NEVER happen under the mass murdering Marikana, BEE corrupt scumbag, Cyril Ramaphoria. There is only one solution for South Africa. The ANC must go. The sooner the better. This year is your year. Make the most of it. Never, Ever accept Arsezania as "Normal"...It is not normal.
